And..It winds down

Well it seems that another year has ticked away. Well, well. It happens each year. However, the more that tick away the less important it seems to be. The 'holidays' just seem to be another day. Nothing special, just one more set of days marked off of the calendar. No sense of accomplishment or feats tackled seem to be running through my mind as this year of 2006 hedges to completion.

What does the future hold? Well, as that 'mythical' time approaches I seem to know less about it. But then maybe as the time folds out I see it for what it is and then have a gameplan of sorts. I have decided that I will move to the Dallas area next week. I of course have not made any arrangements other than setting up a couple of job interviews. I plan on enrolling in some classes for the spring semester; orientation is a week away. As events play out I will have more of a sense of what I am doing or at least have a full perspective on what I have done.

And the thing that seems to go through my mind and course through my veins the most?? Well, simply put, oliebollen. Simple as they are and almost disgusting to think about some folks claim, I love them. As distressing as having hundreds of them laying about was, I would very much like to be in such an environment. Maybe once more I will be. But as I have no plans for such, hope folds in and I am left to feel requited.

Another Day

Not much has been transpiring lately. Still in search of something. Hopefully I will know what it is when I find it; or even after. It is always appropriate to improve hindsight; a most excellent attribute.

One thing I will say is that you gotta love Texas. It was freezing, literally, all last week. This week, of course, is nice spring weather and in the 80's. But it will be cold again and then hot again......

Resuming my Rightful Place

I dug down deep in my memory card and pulled out some more photos. No longer are they lost to the world. I have posted more photos from New Orleans and Holland. It is always the good ones that get lost but no longer. For I have conquered bad binary.
